She was predeceased by: her parents, Rita Darden (Isaiah Jones) and New Yorker; and her husband Purple Heart recipient Pvt. Richard Spikener. She is survived by: her children, Quinton T. Spikener (Marsha Eloi), Majesty Spikener and Veronica Joseph (Dornevil Joseph); her grandchildren, Jahliel, Takari and Kahseer Spikener; her children, Annabelle Vann, Ethan, Braxton, Valentina, Jazmine and Za'riya Joseph; her sister Elise McLean; her nephews, Michael, William McLean, Isaiah, Elijah Jones, Eric and Raymond Williams; and her great-nephew Isaiah McLean.
