We are sad to announce that on June 14, 2023, at the age of 82, Larry Wayne Hargett (Nicholasville, Kentucky), born in Lexington, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Hargett and Lewis H Hargett; and his son Kevin Hargett. He is survived by: his wife Carole Ruffner Hargett of Lexington; his daughter Teresa Hargett Brooks of Georgetown; his brothers, Ron of Lexington and Richard Hargett of Lexington; and his granddaughters, August and Eliot Brooks.

In honor of his legacy, Larry's family would like memorial contributions made to Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, Lexington KY or the Lexington Humane Society.
