He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Lawrence Veltkamp and Kathryn Leenstra Veltkamp. He is survived by: his wife Marybeth; his stepsons, Clay Hall (Amy) and Houston Hall (Dolores); his sister Barbara Poel (Don); his grandchildren, Tayla, Aly, Seth, Emilee, Vaughn, Conner, Carlton, Walker, Mary, Charlotte, Cooper and Wyatt; and his great grandchildren, Luke and Ava.
