With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine Beam Spears of Nicholasville, Kentucky, who passed away on March 11, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Jackson "Jack" Beam and Allene Newkirk Beam of Ashland; and her siblings, Stella Beam Franklin (Les Franklin) of Catlettsburg and Walter Jackson "Jackie" Beam, Jr. of Ashland. She is survived by: her husband Jack Spears; her brother Bobby Beam (Terry); her sister-in-law Carolyn Beam; her children, Greg Spears (Julie) of Ashland and Beth Spears Smith (Jeff) of Nicholasville; her grandchildren, Kiefer Spears (Sara), Jessie Bartram (Justin) of Ashland, Isaac, Aaron and Caleb Smith of Nicholasville; and her great grandchildren, Darci Bartrum, Reagan Spears and Cecilia Spears. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
