It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph W. Anderson (Nicholasville, Kentucky), born in Stamping Ground, Kentucky, who passed away on September 3, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha "Mattie" Anderson and Hobart Anderson; his wife Wilma Anderson; his siblings, Nona Gardner Anderson, Geneva Anderson and Kenneth Anderson; his great grandchildren, Mason Campbell and James Campbell; and his stepdaughter Rebecca Berry.

He is survived by: his children, Kathy Rodgers (Dennis Kopera), Michael Anderson (Jonell) and Doug Anderson (Vickie); his grandchildren, Joseph M. Anderson, Laura Anderson, Jimbo Rodgers, Teddy Rodgers, Rebecca Campbell, Catherine Anderson and Brent Anderson; and his stepchildren, Bob Gardner, Rena Wiseman and Brian Gardner.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pink Sisters Inc., Versailles, KY, Hospice of the Bluegrass, or American Red Cross.
