He was predeceased by: his parents, Rell Cole and Pearl Branham Cole; his brothers, Rell Cole, Jr. and Lester Cole; and his nephew Travis "Bub" Tackett.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Hall Cole; his sons, Joe Don Cole (KaSandra) and Brent Cole (Erika); his siblings, Ronnie Cole (Eva) and Molly "Sissy" Tackett (Rickey); and his grandchildren, Kyndall, Mallory, Blakely, Elouise and Joseph.
