We are sad to announce that on October 14, 2021, at the age of 75, Joan Lester Broughton of Nicholasville, Kentucky, born in Pineville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Delbert Broughton; her parents, Paul Lester and Mary Parker Lester; and her brothers, Paul Lester Jr., Harold Lester and Carlos Lester.

She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Beth Bryant of Nicholasville and Gail Curry (Mike Thompson) of Nicholasville; her brother George Lester; her grandchildren, Rocky James Farris, Matthew Dillon Curry, Breanna Kathryn Maracin and Morgan Parker Maracin; and her great grandchild Jaxon Sawyer Huelett.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
