Jewett Sorrell Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jewett Sorrell (Nicholasville, Kentucky), born in Owingsville, Kentucky, who passed away on November 26, 2018 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his spouse Opal Rudd Sorrell; his parent Espie Sorrell; and his siblings, Kenneth, Buford, Clayton Sorrell, Mary Lee Little, Stella Barnett and Phyllis Isaacs.

He is survived by: his parent Anna Flora Sorrell; his daughters, Cynthia Iten (Larry) of Atlanta, GA and Patricia Followell (Wendell) of Lexington; his sister Thelma Peach of Lexington; his grandchildren, Ashley Taylor, Andrew Iten and Anna Finley (Paul); and his great grandchildren, Lexi and A. J. Taylor.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the University of KY Markey Cancer Center.
