Jeff Haselwood Obituary

Jeff Haselwood, 54, of Nicholasville, a loving husband to Monique Haselwood and a proud, loving father to his children, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021 at his home. He was born February 8, 1967 in Lexington to Charlie (Pam) Haselwood and Marti (Gene) Washington. Jeff was a member of Nicholasville Baptist Church. He was a former staffer with Crown Services and a former manager with Rite Aid.

He enjoyed being an Umpire for over 30 years for girl's soft ball where he spent a lot of time on the field working with his father. Along with his wife and parents, Jeff is survived by his children, Jessica, Morgan, Elaina, Cash and Jaxon Haselwood, whom he loved dearly; sister, Mia (Bill) Dawson; brother, Eric Washington; father and mother-in-law, Guy and Faith Quaranta; sister-in-law, Dina (Stewart) Justus; nephews, Landon, Corbin, Mitchell, and Jake; neices, Breanna and Ellianna; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Jeff put his all into everything he did. He had a wonderful work ethic, barely ever missed a day of work. He loved his family completely and would lump friends into the family category. Jeff would do anything he could to help someone in need and always put others before himself. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.

He was so excited to see his young sons grow up and do big things. Services will be 6:00 pm Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Kerr Brothers – Harrodsburg Road. Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

“Dear my loving husband, Jeff, I still cannot believe you are gone. I must be stuck in a nightmare. I wish I could wake up. I love you more than you ever knew. I will miss you forever. Your sons love you so much and wanted you to see them graduate and get married. We will see you again in heaven. You will always be my lobster. Kiss on your head. Love your broken-hearted wife, Monique”
