Jean Pelkey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Pelkey of Nicholasville, Kentucky, born in Houghton, New York, who passed away on March 23, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Foss (Moon) and Warren Foss; her husband Lyman Edward Pelkey; her sister Alma Foss; and her daughter-in-law Heidi Pelkey (Morris).
She is survived by: her children, Fortana May Pelkey-Landes (Craig) of Albuquerque, NM and Dr. Stanley C. Pelkey II (Heather) of Nicholasville, KY; her grandchildren, Elena (Bobby), Nathan Edward Pelkey, Madison Kay Pelkey and Corina Pelkey-Landes; and her sister Judy Foss (Bridgeport). She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews, and cherished friends.
