We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2022, at the age of 92, James Elmer Showalter (Nicholasville, Kentucky), born in Lexington, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Morford Showalter; his brother William "Bill" Showalter; his sister-in-law Emma Creech Showalter; and his nieces, Teresa Buroughs and Susan Bowman.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Creech Showalter; his children, James II (Kimberly), Michael (Jill) and Marsha Fyffe (Wayne); his grandchildren, Andrea Bently (Matthew), Lauren Pasquariello (Brian), Evan, Kristen, Jenna Fyffe, Ethan, Eric, Jacob and Daniel Showalter; and his great grandchildren, Leon Bently and Iris Pasquariello.
The family requests donations be made to Alzheimers Research in lieu of flowers.
