He was predeceased by: his parents, John James and Katie Frances Gooch Wilmot; and his children, Jeffrey Stockdale and Alvenia Wilmot. He is survived by: his wife Jane D. Wilmot of Nicholasville; his children, John James Wilmot (Debbie), Ralph Edward Wilmot (Julie) and Michelle Mae Conrad (David); and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Myers (George), Amanda Satterlee (Bruce), Angela Wilmot, Amber Santi (Daniel), James Lovato and James Wilmot (Christina). He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
