He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Whitaker and Pearl Sharp Whitaker; his sister Virgie Hager; and his great grandchild MacKenzie McClanahan. He is survived by: his wife Becky Whitaker; his daughter Beverly Rangel; his siblings, Victor Whitaker, Ray Whitaker (Pat), Doris Ann Adams and Mary Lyle Cartwright; his grandchildren, Lacy Taylor, Adriana Rangel and Tyler Rangel; and his great grandchildren, Kaylee Taylor, Christian Taylor and Eliana Rangel. He is also survived by many friends and relatives.
Memorial donations are suggested to be made to the American Cancer Society.
