He is survived by: his wife Margaret Bruce; his child Erin Bookman (Robert); his grandchildren, Brianna and Isabel; his son Christopher (Kelly); his grandchildren, Sienna and Grady; his daughter Lori Kruse (Scott); and his grandchild Remi.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests gifts to Bluegrass Hospice Care or Southland Christian Church.
