Grace Gardner Benson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 11, 2025, at the age of 85, Grace Gardner Benson (Nicholasville, Kentucky), born in Maysville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Philip Benson (Peep); her parents, Harry Hawley and Cora Hawley; her siblings, Jewell Jefferson, Harry Davis Hawley, Jr., Duke Hawley and Pierce Hawley (Buddy); and her grandson Michael Stacy.

She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Price (Haskell) of Nicholasville, KY, Robbie Ann Theobald of Lexington, KY and Christy Washington (Darrin) of Lexington, KY; her siblings, Audrey B Wilson and Douglas "General" Hawley; her grandchildren, Ashley Correll (Bill), Heather Theobald (Daniel), Kari Goodwin (Jake), Kayla Greanias (Austin), Trey Benson (Kiara), Darius Washington and Dane Washington; and her great grandchildren, Austin Perry (Buddy), Cameron Theobald, Harper Fannin, Declan Theobald, Trey Benson Jr., Presley Goodwin, Olivia Greanias and Aubrey Correll.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing (601 E Brannon Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
