He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Langley-Smith of Nicholasville, Kentucky; his sons, Dylan Smith (MacKenzie) of Frankfort and Preston Smith (Brittany) of Birmingham; and his siblings, Carla Mills (Johnny) of Elizabethton, TN and Alan Shoemaker. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
