She was predeceased by: her mother Ethel Cornett (Lewis); her husband Bill L. Hamby, Sr.; and her siblings, Mattie Elizabeth Cornett, Loretta Sue Cornett, Robert Cornett and Bill Cornett.
She is survived by: her father Fred Cornett; her brother Roland "Peewee" Cornett (Lyna); her children, Bill Hamby (Marsha), Deedee Rice (Eddie), Pam Rogers (Randy) and James Hamby (Christine); her grandchildren, Bridget Catron (Blaine), Chrissy Adams (Terry), Brendan Rice, Jesse Hamby (Hailee), Delaney Kelm (Brandon), Quinlan Rice, Ethan Napier and Alton Hamby; her great grandchildren, Talon Catron, Benjamin Catron, Levi Patterson, Noah Patterson, Jaxxon Adams, Peyton Adams, Wes Adams, Alley Adams and Destiny Kelm; her pet Blue; and also Elvis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the TRI City Funeral Home (506 Holly St, Benham, KY 40807). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
