He is survived by: his wife Jeannine Hughes Nelson; his children, Jennifer Aversa (Domenico) of Macomb, MI, Edward David Nelson (Corey) and Scott Michael Nelson (Jennifer); his siblings, Carol Nelson, Randy Nelson (Beverly) and Norman Nelson (Christine); and his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Victoria Aversa, Fraser, Madelyn Nelson, Kylie, Scott, Connor and Devany Nelson.
