She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Burton and Christine Walker Burton; her husband William Woods Reed; her son John Howard Reed; and her siblings, Nullan Burton, Harold Burton and Sylvia House.
She is survived by: her children, William Reed, II, Catrina Conway and Ruth Reed; her siblings, Kenneth Burton, Richard Burton (Elizabeth), Sam Burton (Christina), Mark Burton (Linda), June Steele (Jimmy), Brenda Meyer (Weller) and Ruth Slone (Ned); and her grandchildren, John Meade, Rachel Reed, Caitlyn Conway, Hailee Miller, Steven Rowlett and Ashley Rowlett. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
