He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Switzer and Lucille Reynolds Switzer. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Switzer (Susabeth), Kathy Bradley, Carey "Tag" Switzer and Shawn Johnson (Bruce); his stepchildren, Jeff Brown and Dana Bowling; his grandchildren, Channing Hazelton-Able, Susan Switzer, Courtney Able, Leighann Switzer, Hallie Beaty and John Bradley III; his great grandchildren, Jaelyn Norvel, Whitney Abel, Brynlee Abel and Levi Herman; his siblings, Bobby Switzer (Jody), Joe Switzer, Mary Margaret Roser, Linda Switzer, Kenneth Ray Switzer, Joann Wade and Elizabeth Nicholson; and his grandson Zackery Vanover. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM and at 6:00 PM at the Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home (207 W Oak St, Nicholasville, KY 40356). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
