He is survived by: his wife Melanie Tomlin Votaw; his mother Rosalie Devers; his daughter Miranda Griffieth (Sam) of Lexington; his mother-in-law Barbara Steele of Lexington; and his siblings, Kathie Brim (Keith) of Virginia, Kristina Votaw of Alaska and Michael Votaw (Judy) of Danville, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
