He is survived by: his children, Juanita Ditty (Jack), Lisa Kim Tabor, Deana Underwood, Beth Underwood (Randall Combs) and Wesley Underwood (Trisha); his sister-in-law Mary Underwood; his siblings, Hardin, Alvin Underwood, Ruby Hager and Martha Perry; his daughter Penni Underwood; and his granddaughter Julie Ditty Qualls. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home (207 W Oak St, Nicholasville, KY 40356). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery (6980 Danville Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356).
