He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis East and Miranda Davis East; and his brothers, Elwood, Paul, Booster and Alexander East.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Walton East; his children, Randy East (Patty) and Sidney Lynn Coleman (Byron); his grandchildren, Troy Coleman (Kim), Maranda Rosen (Brian) and Chase Coleman (Brittany); his great grandchildren, Evelyn and Beckham Coleman; his brothers, Roland "Rock" East and Thompson "Tom" East; and his friend Leedale Stinnett.

Flowers are welcome, but the family suggest donations be made in his memory to Bluegrass Care Navigators or Nicholasville Christian Church.
