Buford R. Burchfield Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Buford R. Burchfield of Nicholasville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Rufus Burchfield and Will Ellen Payton Burchfield; his son Buford R. "Rusty" Burchfield, III; and his former wife Linda Jones Burchfield. He is survived by: his wife Amanda; his daughter Beth Degler (Kevin); his grandsons, Christopher Degler (Haley) and Nicholas Degler; his stepchildren, Shane Gravitt, David Dugger and Alicia Bennett; his stepgrandchildren, Taylor and Trevin Dugger; and his sister Midge Detwiler (Wes). He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Immanuel Baptist Church (3100 Tates Creek Rd, Lexington, KY 40502). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
