He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Herald and Polly Herald; his daughter Denise Herald; and his brother Elmer. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Herald; his children, Stanley Herald (Julie), Cathy Abplanolp (late Ted), Roy Herald (Kim), Polly Partin (Tim) and Delores Barnes; and his siblings, Bill Herald (Barb), Ray Herald (Ulene), Roberta Sampley, Mima Jane Matracia, Merlin, Lester, Luther, Mae, Ida and Johnny. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, over 30 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
