He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Ken Pelgen (Sandie), Bill Pelgen (Vickie) and Mary Beth Freeman; his siblings, William Pelgen and Betty Ann Bassett; and his grandchildren, Joe Shuff, Jeff Pelgen, Beth Pelgen, Rachel Pelgen, Allison Lupcke and Carly Becker. He was also cherished by three Great Grandchildren.
