She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Velasquez and Cecelia Alfaro; her siblings, Jesus Velasquez and Juana Arollo; and her grandson Jason M. Garcia.
She is survived by: her sister Margaret Hernandez; her children, Monica Salazar Garcia, Dolores Salazar Olsen, BettyJo Rosas (Joe) and Jake Salazar (Ana); her grandchildren, Raul J. Garcia, Victor S. Garcia (Francine), Maria M. Garcia, Leroy Salazar (Monica), Kenneth K. Salazar (Natalie), Genevieve E. Rosas, Jessica J. Camacho (Everardo), Nicholas J. Olsen, David M. Olsen (Jessica), Marina A. Salazar and Gabriela P. Salazar; her great grandchildren, Julian, Malia, Destiny, Celeste, Jocelyn, Victor, Jazmine, Elliot, Emma, Nomar, Ramon, Alyssa, Lucas, Andy, Gwendolyn, Haley, Leila and BettyJo; and her great great grandchild Sabella. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to Covid-19, the family will hold a private gathering.
