With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Sebastian Pratt of Newport, Kentucky, who passed away on September 12, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Herschel; and her children, Johnny McIntosh and Tracey Iles. She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Pratt (Melissa) and Gregory Pratt (Karen); and her grandchildren, Gregory Wayne Pratt (Angie), Michelle Pratt-Turner (David), Shannon Hoy, Katie Pratt (Brandon), Hannah Pratt, Joshua Pratt and Dennis Lewis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting people donate elementary children's books or books about Appalachia that will be delivered to the Breathitt County KY public library where they will be placed in Mary's honor.
