It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Margaret Whitacre (Newport, Kentucky), who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Whitacre; her son Danny Whitacre; and her granddaughter Andrea Joy. She is survived by: her children, Jerry Whitacre II, Marty Whitacre, Kenny Whitacre and Angela Whitacre; and her grandchildren, Brian, Joey, Beth, Tyler, Casey, Ally, Ricky, Hannah, Ruben, Shea, Avery, Harper, Layla, Sydney and Ariana. She is also survived by nephews, nieces and their children.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (825 Washington Ave, Newport, KY 41071). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (25 Alexandria Pike, Southgate, KY 41071).
