With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Jane Turner Erskine of Newport, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 26, 2025 at the age of 57. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Mary Jane leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Turner and Ella Turner; and her sister Theresa Lynn Reilly. She is survived by: her husband David Allen Erskine; her children, Ryan David Erskine and Faren Jade Kleier; her son-in-law Kevin Kleier; and her siblings, Regina Turner (Jerry), Deborah Turner and Roscoe Lee Turner.
Viewing will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cooper Funeral Home (10759 Alexandria Pike, Alexandria, KY 41001). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A wake will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Southgate Community Center (301 W Walnut St, Southgate, KY 41071).
