He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Lee Sr. and Mary Lea Redmon; his brother Harold Redmon (Georgia); and his close friend Norma Campbell. He is survived by: his daughter Renee Redmon; his nephew Todd Redmon; and his niece Dawn Redmon Hall.
