We are sad to announce that on March 27, 2021, at the age of 72, Jon Besen (Newport, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Vitas Hospice.

“Jon and I shared 100's of rounds of golf together over many years. We played as a 2some a lot, and also played as a 4some almost every week. Our group was Jon & Rod Kaplan vs Steve Juran & Dave Goodman. We played practically every course from Belterra to Elks Run to Shaker Run. Most of the time Jon would drive all of us to the course in his smooth riding Buick. Jon would enjoy White Castle coffee and a few cigarettes on the way to the course, and we all got whippy dip afterwards. Great memories.”
