He was predeceased by: his father Harold Carpenter; his sister Donna McQueary; and his grandson Tony Gabbard. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Carpenter; his mother Louise Kirk; his daughters, Brittany Haines (Mark) and Becky Moore (Eric); his siblings, Tommy Carpenter, Tammy McQueary and Libby Cook (Wayne); and his grandsons, Lucas and Zane. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
