He was predeceased by: his wife Rose (Boberg); and his parents, Harry Welscher and Lillian Welscher (Douba). He is survived by: his children, Lisa O'Connor (Mick), Kristin Welscher (Darren Recker) and David Welscher (Gina); and his grandchildren, Sam, Emma, Jack, Grace O'Connor, Adam Meyer, Lily and Lydia Welscher. He is also survived by several in-laws, nieces and nephews.
