He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother John Anthony Walz; his sons, Michael Walz (Amber) and Adam Walz; his granddaughter Veda Walz; his sister Karen Bettner (Jim); his nieces and nephews, Katie, Abby, Nick, Donna, Becky and Margie; and his sister-in-law Marjorie Walz.
