He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lou and Mary Lou; and his siblings, Pam, Jack and Dave.

He is survived by: his spouse Laurie; his sons, John (Tracy), Daniel and Sam; his grandchildren, Belle, Aliyah, Camden and Evelyn; and his brother Steve (Nina).
