He was predeceased by: his parents, Fortunato Chavez and Rebecca Marquez Chavez. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Kyle L. Loring and Cory K. Loring (Jen); his grandchildren, Travis, Ryder and Emma; his wife Laura Helmbrecht; his siblings, Fortunato, Erik Chavez and Camerina Chavez Madrid; and his daughters, Sydney and Olivia. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
