It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Mattingly of New Hope, Kentucky, born in Saint Francis, Kentucky, who passed away on October 15, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Thomas Mattingly; her children, Freddy Mattingly, Mary Lou Delaney and Thomas Gerard Mattingly; her parents, Amos Nalley and Lydia Margaret Miles Nalley; and her siblings, Lucille Medley Young, Albert Nalley, Kathleen Corbishley, Harry Nalley and Elizabeth Nalley.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Bullock (Jerry) of Bardstown, Peggy Nalley (Charlie) of Louisville, Ruth Ann Mattingly (Scott) of New Hope, Beth Steinbrecher (Dave) of Louisville, Lyndal Mattingly (Dorothy) of New Hope and Wayne "Sydney" Mattingly (Martha Ann) of New Hope. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
