He was predeceased by: his wife Patsy Boone; his parents, David Boone and Essie Leake Boone; and his brother John A. Boone. He is survived by: his children, Donna Essex (Leo), Dave (Angela) and Eric Boone; his daughter-in-law Ellen Boone; his siblings, Joe (Margaret), Nolan (Becky), Lambert (Doris), Pat (Donna), Fred Boone, Lenora Rogers, Guyula Johnson and Anna Burd (Glenn); his grandchildren, Cameron, Caroline Boone, Jordan, Madison, Ethan, Eli Essex and Erica Vance (Preston); and his great grandchild Whittaker Vance.
