With solemn reverence, we commemorate Catherine Eunice Hicks of New Hope, Kentucky, whose life came to an end on June 3, 2024 at the age of 97, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Hardin and Anna Maria Williams Williamson; her children, Ted Hicks, Sharon Egorow, Kenneth Hicks, David Hicks and Janice Hicks; her son-in-law Billy Hall; her granddaughter Deanna Hicks; and her siblings, David, Thomas, Edward, Joseph Hardin, Benedict Williamson, Mildred Miles, Helen Bell and Hazel Van Becelaere.

She is survived by : her children, Rick Hicks (Sue) of Lexington, Steve Hicks (Mary Lois) of New Hope, Lois Mattingly (Joe Larry) of New Haven, Debbie Morris of New Hope, Nancy Newton (Stuart) of Loretto, Donald Hicks (Annette) of New Hope, Judy Masterson (Fuzz) of New Haven and Lisa Hall of Bardstown; and her brother Bobby Williamson (Virginia) of North Brook, Illinois.. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mattingly Funeral Home (195 Holy Cross Rd, Loretto, KY 40037). A prayer was held on Thursday, June 6th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, June 7th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (104 Church Street (New Hope), New Hope, KY 40052).
