He is survived by: his daughter Piper Kinley Newton; his mother Louise Downs; and his siblings, David Downs (Cheryl), Karen Taylor (Mike), Susan Ratliff, Laura Durbin (Todd), Carlene Downs (Bryan) and Tonya Kays. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
