She was predeceased by: her husband William Joseph "Billy" Newton; her son John Lloyd Newton; and her siblings, Della Mae Bryan, Dorothy Mae Carey, Pearl Berry, Mary Lorraine Woods, John Eules Hagan and Frances John Hagan.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Denise Ballard (Pat), Joseph Neal Newton (Malinda) of Bardstown, James Paul "Jim" Newton of Bardstown and Charles Reginald "Reggie" Newton (Lisa Harris) of New Haven; and her siblings, Ann Marie Goff of Bardstown, Cecilia Hagan of Alabama, Chester "Chet" Hagan of Bardstown, Paul Hagan (Sheila) and Billy Hagan (Vilma). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
