He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Oliver and Rosa Frances Chriswell West; and his siblings, Edna Frances West, Cassie Honeycutt, Bessie LaFollette, Rine "Buddy" West and Raymond West.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor "Ellie" West; his son Joey West (Dawn) of Springfield, Tennessee; his stepchildren, Lois Ann McNear of Hodgenville, Rebecca Love (Detrick) of Hodgenville, Melissa Booher (Joe) of Mt. Sherman, Michael Atwell of Hodgenville, Richard Carter of Hodgenville, Robert Hoback (Tammy) of Hodgenville and James Hoback of Hodgenville; and his siblings, Dora Brown of Hodgenville, Barbara Nunn of Hodgenville, Betty LaFollette (Quincy) of Hodgenville, Lile West (Peggy) of Hodgenville, Ernie West (Vicki) of Hodgenville and Frank West of Dawson Springs. He is also survived by two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
