He was predeceased by: his son Adam Smallwood; his parents, Joe Smallwood and Ethel Smallwood; and his brothers, Gene, Kenny, Bobby and Charles Smallwood.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Smallwood of New Haven; his sons, Andy Smallwood (Bridget) of Shepherdsville, Arron Smallwood (Tara) of Taylorsville, Craig Greer (April) of Holy Cross and Chris Greer (Nicole) of Bardstown; his grandchildren, Drew, Audrey, Riley (Summer), Liam, Miley, Christopher, Lucas, Bella, Olivia, Addison, Quinton, David and Rodney; and his siblings, Doris Willis (Herman) of Murfreesboro, TN, Sheila Henderson of Leitchfield, Darrell Smallwood (Becky) of Louisville, Gary Smallwood (Charlene) of Louisville and Jerry Smallwood (Donna) of Leitchfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
