In loving memory of Hazel Ritchie O'Bryan of New Haven, Kentucky, who departed this world on February 23, 2025 at the age of 92. Hazel Ritchie leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Allen "Hot Taters" O'Bryan; her daughter Virginia Allen Gilpin (John O'Bryan); her granddaughter Katie O'Bryan Simpson; her siblings, Lois Hutchins, Mary Elizabeth Clark and William Earl "Bill" Ritchie Jr.; and her son-in-law Ricky Hardin.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth "Liz" Ann Hardin of Bardstown, Jean Marie Browning (Kenny) of Lebanon, Mary Frances Ray of Bardstown, Joseph Allen O'Bryan Jr. of Bardstown, James Keith O'Bryan (Kathy) of Bardstown, Michael Lawrence O'Bryan (Alice) of Bardstown and Vincent Paul O'Bryan (Kathy); and her son-in-law Danny Gilpin of Culvertown. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM at the Barlow Funeral Home (2675 E John Rowan Blvd, Bardstown, KY 40004). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas Catholic Church (St. Thomas Cemetery) (870 St Thomas Ln, Bardstown, KY 40004).
