He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph W., Sr. and Laura Alice Bowling; and his siblings, Mariann Gant, Selby and John L. Bowling.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Bowling; his children, Harold V., Jr., Joe, Donnie (Missy), Michael Bowling (Jessica), Marsha Miller (Don) and Anna Hurst; his stepdaughter Susie Oliver (Larry); his brother Billy Bowling (Betty); and the mother of his children Mary Bowling. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to St. Catherine Catholic Church of Hospice of Nelson County.
