He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry and Hattie Mae Whitaker Abrams. He is survived by: his wife Nola Abrams; his children, Gerald Abrams, Jr. (Virginia) of New Haven, Phillip Abrams of San Angelo, Nancy Lozano of Riverbank and Candina Kent (Scott) of San Angelo; and his brother Lanny Gail Abrams of Pack. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
