The memory of Agnes Verna Greenwell of New Haven, Kentucky, who passed away on November 13, 2024 at the age of 95, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ballard and Mary Leona "Tootsie" Metcalfe; her husband Billy Greenwell; her son Bryan Greenwell; her siblings, Norma Lou Ball Ballard, Harold, Joseph Thurman and Kenneth Metcalfe; and her grandson Trenton Greenwell.
She is survived by: her children, Ed, Bruce, Scott (LeAnn), Todd Greenwell (Angie), Marlene Harrell (Wayne), Debbie Moore (Jimmy), Jennifer Smith (Joe), Charlotte Scott (Travis), Carla Hardin (Steven), Barbara Woods (Don), Susan Greenwell, Laura Anne Ice (Bobby) and Kaye Lanham (Mike). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 8:00 AM at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home (324 W Center St, New Haven, KY 40051). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (8191 New Haven Rd, New Haven, KY 40051). A burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at the St. Thomas Cemetery (700 St Thomas Ln, Bardstown, KY 40004).
