He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Coleman and Lee Lois Payton (Purvis); his wife Minnie Mae Payton (Hammond); and his daughter Jane Holcomb. He is survived by: his children, Cathy Cox (Harold), Jean Holcomb Perry (Mike) of Eminence, Sally Holcomb Welch (Larry) of New Castle, Maurice Ray Payton (April) of New Castle, Todd Allen Payton (Jennifer) of Eminence, Charles Lee Holcomb of Louisville and Larry Gene Holcomb (Shirley) of Eminence; and his sister Patsy Sevier of New Castle. He is also survived by 16 Grandchildren 4 Great Grandchildren 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.
