It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jo Jeffries (New Castle, Kentucky), who passed away on August 13, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Joseph Tipton; and her siblings, Laura Sutton, Charles Sharp and William Tipton. She is survived by: her parent Eva Mae Ogden Tipton; her husband Roland Kent "Kenny" Jeffries of New Castle; her children, Diana Jeffries Dunavan of Eminence, Steven Kent Jeffries (Renee) of New Castle and Michael Loren Jeffries; her siblings, Thelma Faye Booth (Rodney) of Milton, Carroll Ray Tipton (Rita) of New Castle, Maurice Tipton (April) of Sellersburg and Gene Tipton of Shelbyville; her grandchildren, Jodi Dunavan Zerbe (Richard), Connor Jeffries, Shayna Jeffries Gibson (Dallas), Nacona Jeffries, Corbin Jeffries, Whitney Jeffries, Jenna Jo Jeffries and Isaac Thompson; her daughter Ali; and also Southeast Christian Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Ali's Rae of Hope Foundation.
